Finn's Room Workflow and Breakdown

Pre-Build Iterations


Models for Finn's Room were created in 3DS Max and arranged in the approximate placement of where they would reside when imported to the Unreal Engine.

  • The models shown to the left are all the assets used in the vignette. 
  • The wall pieces, books, and name hangers were all instanced with different textures for easy texture swapping while using the same mesh.

As this vignette was heavily prop based, textures were created using Substance Painter, Quixel Suite 2, and Photoshop.
